Backing Up Production Files

ControlGuardian can back up 999 production files. For example, if you configure
ControlGuardian to save 10 backup files, then the first 10 files uploaded from a

processor to the production directory will have a backup file. The backup files are

saved under the current project name with a three-digit extension. The higher the

extension number, the more recent the backup.

Note

You can back up both your master files and your production files. If you configure
the software to back up your production files, insert a production file into the master
library, then the backup versions of the production file will also be inserted into the
master library. If you have configured the master file backup paths, the files will be
backed up again when the system performs the master file backup.
