User Log Reports

The user log (Figure 10.4) records each time a user logs into the system and

performs functions. The user log lists the user name, function performed, name of

the master file that was used (if any), station number, the start time of the function

performed and the end time of the function performed. The user log does not list

function results.

ControlGuardian stores the user log in the directory path and file you specify. You

must enable the user log and specify the file before ControlGuardian begins to

record user information. For more information, see chapter 9.

To see the most recent entries in the user log, you must first print the user log to a
printer or file. For more information, see chapter 9.

If you want to view the user log online, print the user log to a file and specify a

.LOG extension. Then use

F4

View Reports from the main menu to select and

view the user log.
