Comparing Files

Chapter Objectives

With ControlGuardian, you can upload your ladder logic programs and compare
them to approved master files. If the contents of the file are different than the

master file, ControlGuardian alerts you. You can perform a single action or a batch

action. Batch actions can be placed on a schedule so you can fit actions into

different scenarios. This chapter explains how to:

perform a single action

·

compare parts of a processor memory file

·

create, modify, and run a batch file and perform an auto batch

·

create, modify, and run a schedule file

Using Single Action

You use the single action function to compare an approved master file to a processor
file. To perform a single action, do the following:
