Printing a User Log

ControlGuardian stores the user log in the directory path and file you specify. You

must enable the user log and specify the file before ControlGuardian begins to

record user information. To print a user log, do the following:

If you want to print the user log to a file, specify both the directory path and file

name, such as C:\CTLGUARD\USER.LOG. ControlGuardian uses the file name

you specify to store the user log (the user log file is encoded so that it cannot be read

using an external editor or viewed). ControlGuardian encodes the file, so it does not

appear in the ControlGuardian file listings.

If you want to view the user log online, print the user log to a file and specify a

.LOG extension. Then use

F4

View Reports from the main menu to select and

view the user log.
