Changing the mode settings

DEMO MODE <STBY/OFF>
• Select STBY to glance over the function of
camcorder.
• Select OFF not to display demonstration.
Notes on DEMO MODE
• DEMO MODE is set to STBY(Standby) at
the factory and the demonstration starts
about 10 minutes after you set the POWER
switch to CAMERA without inserting a
cassette.
Note that you cannot select STBY of DEMO
MODE in the menu system.
• You cannot select DEMO MODE when a
cassette is inserted in the camcorder.
• If you insert a cassette during the
demonstration, the demonstration stops.
You can start recording as usual. DEMO
MODE automatically returns to STBY.
To look at the demonstration at once
Eject the cassette, if inserted. Select STBY of
DEMO MODE and erase the menu display.
The demonstration will begin.
When you turn off the camcorder once,
DEMO MODE automatically returns to STBY.
AUDIO MODE <12BIT/16BIT>
• Normally select 12BIT to record two stereo
sound.
• Select 16B1T to record the one stereo sound
with high quality.
Items for VTR mode only
TITLE DSPL <ON/OFF>
• Select ON to display the title you have
superimposed.
• Select OFF not to display the title.
TAPE TITLE
Select this item to label the cassette tape.
AUDIO MIX*
Select this item and adjust the balance between
the stereo 1 and stereo 2 by turning the
CONTROL dial.
DEMO MODE <STBY/OFF>
• Seleccione STBY para ver la demostración de
las funciones de la videocámara.
• Seleccione OFF si no desea ver la demostración.
Notas sobre DEMO MODE
• DEMO MODE està ajustado en STBY
(Espera) de fábrica y la demostración se
inicia aproximadamente 10 minutos después
de ajustar el interruptor POWER en
CAMERA sin insertar un videocassette.
Observe que no es posible seleccionar STBY
de DEMO MODE en el sistema de menus.
• No es posible seleccionar DEMO MODE si
hay un videocassette insertado en la
videocámara.
• Si inserta un videocassette durante la
demostración, ésta se interrumpirá. Es
posible iniciar la grabación con normalidad.
La opción DEMO MODE vuelve a ajustarse
automáticamente en STBY.
Para ver la demostración inmediatamente
Expulse el videocassette, si hay uno insertado.
Seleccione STBY de DEMO MODE y elimine
la pantalla de menú. La demostración se
iniciará.
Al apagar la videocámara, la opción DEMO
MODE vuelve a ajustarse automáticamente en
STBY.
AUDIO MODE <12BIT/16BIT>
• Normalmente, seleccione 12BIT para grabar
sonido estéreo dos.
• Seleccione 16BIT para grabar sonido estéreo
uno con alta calidad.
Opciones del modo VTR solamente
TITLE DSPL <ON/OFF>
• Seleccione ON para mostrar el título
superpuesto.
• Seleccione OFF si no desea mostrar el título.
TAPE TITLE
Seleccione esta opción para etiquetar la cinta de
cassette.
AUDIO MIX*
Seleccione esta opción y ajuste el balance entre el
estéreo 1 y el estéreo 2 girando el dial
CONTROL.
