Example for exercise: Auxiliary point at a distance from a straight line
Known data for G1:
Auxiliary point PD with the coordinates
PDX = 15 mm and PDY = 20 mm lies at
the distance D = 5 mm from G1.
Initiate the dialog:
Straight line with tangential connection
Enter the X coordinate of the auxiliary point:
DIST AUXIL POINT PD X-COORDINATE
Enter the X coordinate of auxiliary point PD, X=15 mm.
Enter the Y coordinate of the auxiliary point:
DIST AUXIL POINT PD Y-COORDINATE
Enter the Y coordinate of auxiliary point PD, Y=20 mm.
Enter the distance from the auxiliary point to the straight line:
DISTANCE FROM AUXILIARY POINT ?
Enter the distance from the auxiliary point PD to the straight line G1,
D=5 mm.
