Viewing Block Transfer Statistics

Press [B]

from the Main menu to view the Block Transfer Statistics screen.

Use this command to display the configuration and statistics of the backplane
data transfer operations between the module and the processor. The information
on this screen can help determine if there are communication problems between
the processor and the module.

Tip: To determine the number of blocks transferred each second, mark the numbers displayed at a
specific time. Then some seconds later activate the command again. Subtract the previous
numbers from the current numbers and divide by the quantity of seconds passed between the two
readings.

Opening the Data Analyzer Menu

Press [A]

to open the Data Analyzer Menu. Use this command to view all bytes

of data transferred on each port. Both the transmitted and received data bytes
are displayed. Refer to Data Analyzer (page 88) for more information about this
menu.

Important: When in analyzer mode, program execution will slow down. Only use this tool during a
troubleshooting session. Before disconnecting from the Config/Debug port, please press [S]

to stop

the data analyzer, and then press [M]

to return to the main menu. This action will allow the module

to resume its normal high speed operating mode.

Viewing Module Configuration

Press [C]

to view the Module Configuration screen.

Use this command to display the current configuration and statistics for the
module.

Opening the Database Menu

Press [D] to open the Database View menu. Use this menu command to view the
current contents of the module’s database.

Viewing Error and Status Data

Press [E]

to display the error/status data for the module.

Viewing Port Configuration

Press [6]

or [7]

from the Main Menu to view configuration information for ports 1

and 2.

Use this command to display detailed configuration information for the selected
port.

Receiving the Configuration File

Press [R]

to download (receive) the current configuration file from the module.
