SANRAD V-Switch CLI User Manual

iSNS

The V-Switch supports Internet Storage Name Service (iSNS) protocol for
advertising its targets and portals on the iSNS server to enable iSCSI initiators
in the IP-SAN to locate the V-Switch targets automatically. Use the CLI
command ip isns add to add an iSCSI server to the V-Switch’s iSNS client.
Targets defined by the V-Switch’s Access Control List (ACL) as having
controlled access are accessible only to those servers defined as having access to
the target. See “

Volume Exposure & Security

”.
