Expansion cards
A maximum of five PCI expansion cards can be installed in the
server.
The PCI-1 slot of every model of the server incorporates the LAN
card inside.
The slot numbers of the PCI expansion card slots are as shown
below.
Installing PCI expansion cards
WARNING: Do not touch any part other than those necessary
for the work, as certain parts carry high voltages and may
pose a shock hazard.
When installing or removing an optional device, switch off the
server by the shutdown operation and disconnect the power
cable from the AC outlet. Installing or removing parts when
the server is turned on may cause an electric shock.
CAUTION: When installing or removing an expansion card,
wear gloves to protect your hands from injury on sharp
edges on the expansion card and inside of the server.
