The FDD indicator does not light

Probable causes are that the floppy disk drive unit signal cable is
not properly connected, or that the floppy disk drive unit itself is
malfunctioning. Check the signal cable connections. If this does
not remedy the problem, proceed to “Remedy When Windows
NT/2000 is Unusable” on page 167.

An error is displayed during POST operation, or POST stops

midway

Probable causes are a system board, CPU, memory or keyboard
malfunction, or that the BIOS setup is incompatible. Carry out the
following procedure to check the cause of the trouble. If Windows
NT/2000 can be used, proceed to “Remedy When Windows NT/
2000 is Usable” on page 166.

If Windows NT/2000 cannot be used, proceed to “Remedy When
Windows NT/2000 is Unusable” on page 167.

1 Are the CPU, memory, and keyboard properly connected?

Loading of RAID controller BIOS stops midway

Probable causes are that the RAID controller and hard disk drive
are not properly connected, or that the RAID configuration is
damaged or not built. Carry out the following procedure to check
the cause of the trouble.

Windows NT/2000 is Unusable” on page 167.
