5 Remove the two screws securing the drive carrier. While
pressing the latch down, remove the drive carrier by sliding it
in the direction of the server’s front side.
Removing the drive carrier
NOTE: When removing the drive carrier, be careful not to
catch the cables on the drive carrier or touch the memory
module.
6 Remove the 3.5-inch shield cover from the drive carrier.
Carefully store the 3.5-inch shield cover for future use.
