6 Gently push down the locking lever of the socket until it is
locked by the pawl of the CPU socket.

7 Remove the thermal grease protection cover from the heat
sink’s contact surface of the CPU module.
8 Checking the direction of the heat sink, press it to the CPU
socket and fasten it so that the clips are locked by the locking
pawls at the top and bottom of the CPU socket.
The clip springs are tight. Therefore, firmly secure the server
before attaching the heat sink.
When installing 1 GHz CPU module, align the guideline on
the base of the heat sink with the gap between the CPU
module and the socket, and attach the heat sink so that the
thermal grease is in complete contact with the CPU module.
Take care to prevent the fan cable from contacting the fan.
