BIOS Setup Utility

SUPERVISOR PASSWORD / USER PASSWORD
The SUPERVISOR PASSWORD menu is used to set a supervisor
password, while the USER PASSWORD menu is used to set user
passwords.
The supervisor is allowed to set up the system, but users are
forbidden.
When one of these menus is selected, a window appears allowing
you to set a password.
To set a password, type in a password (eight characters or less),
and then press the <Enter> key. When the confirmation window
appears, enter the same password again (confirmation).
IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION
Used to specify how to read the parameters of the IDE hard disk
drives connected.
Y..........................Saves the drive parameters detected by the
BIOS.
N..........................Saves the existing parameters as they are.
SAVE & EXIT SETUP / EXIT WITHOUT SAVING
This menu allows you to exit the BIOS Setup Utility.
SAVE & EXIT SETUP
....................Saves changes and exits the BIOS Setup
Utility.
EXIT WITHOUT SAVING
....................Exits the BIOS Setup Utility without saving
changes.
To exit the BIOS Setup Utility, follow the instructions that appear
on screen.
