Boom Elevation Proximity

1. Loosen, but do not remove the two (2) jam nuts on the proximity switch
body.
2. Check gap between switch and boom. Gap must be within the range
specified in Fig. 7-29.
3. If Rear Osc Lock light does not illuminate when boom is at
approximately 40° elevation, adjust proximity switch to slightly reduce
the gap. Do not exceed gap tolerances specified in Fig. 7-29. Snug jam
nuts to hold switch in position.
4. Raise boom and check operation of Rear Osc Lock light. The light
must come on at approximately 40° of boom elevation. If light does not
illuminate, stop and lower boom. Repeat Step 3.
5. Tighten jam nuts.
