Creating Effects Using Set/Sequence Edit Screens

If sets and sequences are pre-stored, an effect can be created at a later time using the Effect Edit screen.

Create an effect using Set/Sequence Edit screens:

Step

1. Press [Edit Set] button to open Edit Set screen.

Step

2. At palette, select required set.

Step

3. Press [Edit Sequence] button to open Edit Sequence screen.

Step

4. At palette, select required sequence.

Step

5. Press [Edit Effect] to return to main Effect Edit screen.

Step

6. Press and hold [Store] while pressing

Effect Select Button

. This will store the set and sequence selections

into that effect number.

Groups as Effect Sets

A Group can be used as a Set within an effect.

Guidelines:

Groups must be chosen from the 20-up palette in the Effects screen.

How a group is arranged determines the parts of the effect, e.g. a group with an arrangement of 2 divisions with 5
channels in each division will transfer to the effect as 2 parts with 5 channels each.

To specify a group as a set:

Step

1. At Effects super palette, access Group palette.

Step

2. Select a group. (The chosen group will be associated with the effect instead of a set.)

The command line can also be used to associate a group to an effect using the syntax: [Effect] # [Group] # [Enter].
