The Polygon Stream Mode
The Polygon Stream Mode
The Polygon Stream mode is used to map or locate features that can be represented by a closed shape. A continuous
line will be mapped at the designated antenna location. NOTE: This file is stored as a .gmf and can not be used in
replacement of a field boundary file .bnd
To map a polygon stream select the polygon stream button once selected the operator will be ask if this is and interior
or exterior polygon Figure 5-25. If interior is selected this area will be subtracted from the total area of the field. Once
the polygon type has been selected a name must be established Figure 5-25. After a name is entered begin driving
around the area to be located. Notice when the polygon stream button is selected the button changes to a finish flag
seeFigure 5-26. The polygon will automatically close when the operator drives close enough to the starting point. To
close the polygon manually select the finish flag and the polygon will snap shut and all Mapper modes will appear in
the button bar.
