The Polygon Mark Mode
The Polygon Mark mode is used to map or locate features that can be represented by a closed shape made of discrete
points. A line will connected the points drop from designated antenna location.
To map a polygon mark select the polygon mark button, once selected the operator will be ask if this is and interior or
exterior polygon Figure 5-27 If interior is selected this area will be subtracted from the total area of the field. Once the
polygon type has been selected a name must be established Figure 5-27. After a name is entered begin driving around
the area to be located. Notice when the polygon mark button is selected the button changes to Mark Polygon Point
button see Figure 5-28. Drop points by selecting the mark polygon point button whenever a point should be dropped.
To close the polygon select the finish flag and the polygon will snap shut and all Mapper modes will appear in the but-
ton bar.
