Groove Librarian
The RMV can load and save data in a variety of different formats. One of these formats is
a Groove file. A Groove file is similar to a MIDI drum loop and contains note and timing
information for a short percussion pattern. Clicking on the "Open Groove Librarian" button
opens the Groove Librarian which enables Groove searching within the RMV's internal
library.
The RMV's Groove Librarian consists of three parts: the Information display, the Search
display and the Search Result display.
The Information display shows the attributes of the currently loaded Groove. The Groove
Search Input display is used to set the search parameters that are used when the RMV
searches its internal Groove database. The Groove Search Results display shows the
results of the previous Groove search. Further details of these three displays are
presented below.
Groove Information Display
The Groove Information display shows the descriptive attributes of the currently loaded
Groove file.
