controlled by. Make sure that the “Clear” function is switched off by clicking the “Off” menu
item after all de-assignments have been completed. The “Clear All” menu item clears all
parameter/controller assignments at once. The Rest.Fact (Restore Factory Settings) menu
item restores the RMV's MIDI assignments to their default values.
Note that ECS assignment can also be performed directly by clicking on the ECS Indicator.
Clicking on the ECS Indicator performs the same function as using the “Learn” and “Off”
items from the ECS popup menu. In this case, proceed as follows. Click on the ECS
Indicator so that it is illuminated. Select an RMV parameter with the mouse and then send
some MIDI messages to the RMV from your MIDI source. Then click on the ECS Indicator
so that it is no longer illuminated. This process configures the selected RMV control so that
it receives MIDI from the source that transmitted the MIDI messages. From now on the
selected RMV parameter can be changed with using the chosen controller.
