HDR 24/96

Pre-Roll

Sets the amount of pre-roll time for a cue, locate point, or
an auto-punch.
NOTE: Use Pre-Roll must be selected from the Transport
menu, or enabled from the Remote 48, in order for Pre Roll
to be in effect.

Device ID

Pull-down menu for MMC Device ID for each block of 8
tracks. Most 24-track MMC control devices share the same
Device ID for the three 8-track blocks.

Generate

MTC

Clicking this check box "on" causes the HDR 24/96 to send
MIFI time code on its MIDI Out connector

Send MMC

Clicking this check box "on" causes the MIDI machine
control commands to be sent from the MIDI Out connector.
Use MMC to control another recorder or DAW.

Sample

Clock

Pull-down menu to select the source for the sample clock.
Choices are Internal, External word clock (BNC), or
external video (BNC).
Internal operates the HDR24/96 on its internal clock.
Word Clock (BNC) synchronizes the HDR24/96 to an
external word clock source, for example a digital console or
a clock generator.
When Video is selected for the clock source, the internal
sample clock is synchronized with the incoming video frame
rate to assure that audio remains in sync with the video.
When using Video as the clock sync source, an additional
pull-down menu appears to select the video field rate.

Video Field

Rate

Pull-down menu to select field rate of incoming video
signal. Appears only when Video is selected as Sample
Clock source.

Sample

Rate

Pull-down menu to select the sample rate for the project. It
interacts with the sample rate range selected in the New
Project menu. Choices will be either 44.1/48 kHz or
88.2/96 kHz depending on what range was selected.

Time Code

Source

Pull-down menu to select whether, when CHASE TC is
selected, the time code source is SMPTE or MTC.

Bit Depth

Pull-down menu to select between 16- and 24-bit sample
resolutions.

Sync

Time Code

Frame Rate

Pull-down menu to select among various SMPTE time code
framing options.
