HDR 24/96

Imported This folder is automatically created when you
import files from another project on the HDR24/96.
If you wish to import the audio files that you will send to the
HDR via FTP, and the Imported folder doesn’t presently
exist, create it using your FTP client program. This will give
you a convenient place to transfer the files. You will still
need to perform the import operation to actually use the files
(make them appear in the Region list). While files can be
imported to a project from anywhere on the HDR24/96, an
Imported folder already under desired the ProjectName
folder will help you find them when you need them.

Imported Audio
Folder

(Imported)
Audio Files

As described above. Note that you may
have an imported file of the same name as
one of the Project's original recorded files.
Also note that the Imported folder may
contain other audio files types that you
have transferred from an external system
via FTP.

Rendered This folder is automatically created whenever
you Render tracks.

Rendered
Audio Folder

(Rendered)
Audio Files

Rendered files are named for their tracks,
followed by “_Render1”. If there is more
than one rendering of the track, the next one
will be _Render2. Rendered files take on
the name of the track, and the extension
WAV or AIFF, depending on your choice at
the time of rendering.
Track 01_Render1.wav
Bass_Render1.aiff
Bass_Render2.aiff

This folder contains files which are used to draw the on-
screen waveforms.

Cache Folder

Cache files

These files correspond directly to the audio
files (there’s one for every file in the Audio
Files directory). They carry the track name
with the extension WFO. Missing Cache
files are created automatically when a
Project is opened, so if you’re being frugal
about backup space, it’s OK to exclude
them from an FTP backup.

Project File Organization can be found on both Internal and External Drives
