HDR 24/96

Cut

Performs the Cut operation on selected area of
selected tracks. Leaves silent space where the
audio has been cut. A copy of the Cut audio is
placed on the Clipboard.

Join

Perform the Cut-and-join operation on selected
area of selected tracks. Removes the selected
audio and joins the audio that follows to the point
where the cut was made (the previous Selection
Start point). A copy of the Cut audio is placed on
the Clipboard.

Selection

Start

Captures the Current Time into the Selection
Start point. Note that the transport is active while
you are working within this menu. Also note that
Track selection is accomplished with the Track
Control (Record Ready) buttons.

Selection

End

Captures the Current Time into the Selection End
point. Note that the transport is active while you
are working within this menu. Also note that
Track selection is accomplished with the Track
Control (Record Ready) buttons.

Cancel

Moves back up the menu tree one level (without
copying anything to the Clipboard)). Same as
pressing the Page Back button.

Copy

Copy

Performs the Cut-and-join operation as selected.
Removes the selected audio and joins the audio
that follows to the point where the cut was made
(the previous Selection Start point).

Start

Sets the time position where the pasted region
will start. Same as setting a new Selection Start
point. Note that the transport is active while you
are working within this menu and the Start point
can even be selected while the transport is in
motion. Also note that Track selection is
accomplished with the Track Control (Record
Ready) buttons.

Paste

Paste

Performs the actual Paste operation at the
Selection Start point on the Selected track. The
time position (synchronization) of following
regions of audio on the selected track(s) will not
be affected. Instead the pasted region will cover
over any other region occupying the same track
area.
