Configuring DNS

Use the following procedure to check the settings for DNS Configuration.
Checking these settings assumes that the DNS service is enabled on the
Windows 2003 server. The OCS servers are also using this DNS server.

Checking that DNS is correctly configured

On the DNS server, select _tcp.

Select _sipinternaltls.

Right-click and select Properties.

Click on the Service Location (SRV) tab.

Check that the sipinternal SRV records are configured properly. See
example

Figure 125 "sipinternaltls SRV records" (page 287)

for the

settings for sipinternaltls SRV records.
