set port security

Use the

set port security

command to enable MAC security on a port or a

range of ports at the module level. The port security is activated only after you
enable the secutity mode at the stack level using the

set security mode

command.

Note:

This command is not supported in P332G-ML and P332GT-ML switches. This

command is used to set port security for ports in other P330 switches in the stack.

The syntax for this command is:

set port security { enable | disable } [<module>[/<port>]]

Output Example:

P330-N> set port security enable 1/2

Port 1/2 secured.

set cascading

Use the

set cascading

command to enable or disable fault-trap sending for

unconnected cascading links. The default setting is disable.

The syntax for this command is:

set cascading{up|down}fault-monitoring {enable|disable}

<mod-num>

Output Example:

P330-N# set cascading down fault-monitoring enable 1

Module 1 cascading-down fault monitoring enabled.

set inband vlan

Use the

set inband vlan

command to set a value for the management vlan

(from 1 to 3071).

enable | disable

Set the port security enable or disable

module/port

The switch number/the port number
