7. Remove the snap rings and pin that secure the tele-
scope cylinder to the boom fly section.
8. Remove the bolts securing the telescope cylinder upper
supports and remove the supports.
9. Remove the telescope cylinder from the fly section.
10. Remove the bolts securing the telescope cylinder lower
supports and remove the supports.
11. Remove the upper and lower wear pad mounts from the
telescope cylinder.
12. In necessary, remove all wear pads from the cylinder
mounts.
Assembly
1. If removed, install the wear pads to the telescope cylin-
der wear pad mounts. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N
0100011 to the bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm)
with the exception of the side pads on the lower tele-
scope cylinder wear pad mount which are torqued to
20.5 ft.lbs. (28 Nm).
2. Install the rear lower wear pads onto the boom fly sec-
tion. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011 to the bolts
and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
3. Install the lower telescope cylinder supports in the
boom fly section. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011
to the bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
4. Install the lower wear pad mount onto the telescope cyl-
inder. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011 to the bolts
and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
