9. Remove the bolts securing the telescope cylinder upper
supports and remove the supports.
10. Tag and disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the tele-
scope cylinder. Cap or plug all openings.
11. Remove the snap ring from the pin at the barrel end of
the cylinder and drive the pin out.
12. Attach an adequate lifting strap to the rear of the tele-
scope cylinder and pull the cylinder out of the boom,
adjusting the strap as necessary to balance the weight
of the cylinder.
