5.5 Instrument status

• INSTRUMENT STATUS may
also be accessed from the
main menu, in which case a
BACK button will be dis-
played in the menu bar.
• The graphical display pro-
vides information on station
configuration, reagent status
and current location of racks
during a program run.
• Like in STATION DETAILS,
programs ready to be started
(with the exception of pro-
grams defined as ‘white’) are
displayed above the station
buttons (1).
INSTRUMENT STATUS is the standard screen of the instrument, displayed automatically
when the instrument is switched on (unless a different language is selected - s. chapter 4.1).
• If one of the colored program buttons (1) is pressed, the PROGRAM-
MING menu of the corresponding program opens up.
(See
chapter 5.6 for details).
• The SCHEDULE button leads to the ‘Schedule’ menu, where all racks
currently being processed are listed in a table.
(See
chapter 5.7 for details).
• The PAUSE button is displayed only while staining programs are in
progress.
Press PAUSE to:
interrupt rack processing - a window containing the button CONTINUE
will open up and alarm type 3 will be triggered. Press CONTINUE to re-
sume processing.
