About these Operating Instructions

These Operating Instructions are intended for safety−relevant operation on and with
the regenerative power supply modules EMB934x. They include safety instructions
which must be observed.
ƒ
All persons who work on and with the EMB934x regenerative power supply modules
must have the Operating Instructions available and observe all relevant notes and
instructions.
ƒ
The Operating Instructions must always be in a complete and perfectly readable
state.

Term
In the following text used for
Regenerative power
supply module
In the following, the term "regenerative power supply module" is used for "EMB934x
regenerative power supply module".
Controller
In the following, the term "controller" is used for "servo inverter" and frequency
inverter".
Drive system
In the following, the term "drive system" is used for drive systems with regenerative
power supply modules, servo inverters, frequency inverters and other Lenze drive
components.
