4-28 Configure the Adapter
• The 1734-ACNR adapter removes all of its ControlNet
connections.
• The 1734-ACNR adapter enters into a state where connections
are not permitted.
• The 1734-ACNR adapter responds to any connection request
with a unique error. General Status 0x0C is the unique error
code that identifies the 1734-ACNR overload mode.
• The1 734-ACNR Adapter Status LED flashes red, indicating a
recoverable fault.
• In this no connections allowed state, the adapter continues to
process messages. This gives you the option of issuing a module
reset to leave the no connections allowed state.
If you encouter this overloaded state, you will not have to
troubleshoot the connections being made and dropped; the
1734-ACNR overload error will be latched.
Alternatively, if you anticipate this event in a fault situation, you can
clear the fault via your program.
