4 Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn on the system,

including any attached peripherals.

Removing the Middle Planes

support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not

covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with
the product.

1 Recommend to turn off the system, including any attached peripherals,

and disconnect the system from its electrical outlet.

2 Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 174.
3 Remove the system-board assemblies. See "Removing a System-Board

Assembly" on page 115.

4 Remove the cooling fans. See "Removing a Cooling Fan" on page 175.
5 Lift the cooling-fan bracket out of the chassis. See Figure 3-37.
