To strip digits from the end (right) of a number, configure the number of DTMF digits collected to
be less than the full digit string being sent from the PBX.
2.5.1.4 CSID Routing

2.5.1.6 T.30 Sub­address Routing
The T.30 fax specification allows an additional identifier to be specified by the sender for routing
purposes. This feature was never widely implemented when it was first introduced, and is almost never
implemented today.

Subaddress is transmitted via a T.30 HDLC SUB frame, 20 characters in length. The allowed chars for
SUB are numbers, space, *, and #”.
2.5.1.7 Inbound Routing Capabilities By Device
AudioCodes MediaPack, Mediant, and TrunkPack
AudioCodes MediaPacks (FXO ports) are capable of routing on Line or DTMF.
AudioCodes MediaPacks (FXS ports) are DID Trunk capable, and can route on DNIS.
AudioCodes TrunkPack (TP260) cards, Mediant 1000s with T1/PRI cards, Mediant 2000 and
3000 gateways are capable of routing on DNIS. No additional configuration is necessary.
Emulating Line Routing:
The standard configuration NET SatisFAXtion applies enables line routing through the use of virtual
phone numbers. The DID number NET SatisFAXtion receives will indicate on which port the
MediaPack or Mediant received the fax. To use these line phone numbers, follow the instructions for
DID routing above, and use the port phone numbers given below.
The phone numbers on AudioCodes MediaPack MP114 and MP118s default to the following:
Port 1: 1000
Port 2: 1001
Port 3: 1002
Port 4: 1003
Port 5: 1004
Port 6: 1005
Port 7: 1006
Port 8: 1007
The phone numbers typically configured on a Mediant 1000 are slightly different. Note that Mediant
1000s often have customized configuration and so the following does not necessarily reflect your
Mediant’s configuration.
Module 1 Port 1: 1000
Module 1 Port 2: 1001
Module 1 Port 3: 1002
Module 1 Port 4: 1003
