Email Address: ‘From’ address for outbound email. Don’t use the fax server’s POP3 address.
Email Display Name: The sender’s “friendly name” for outbound email.
SMTP Mail Server
Server Name: The domain name or IP address of the mail server.
Port: The port to connect to on the mail server. Typically 25 for regular SMTP or 587 for TLS.
Connection Security: Check this box if your mail server requires TLS.
Authentication
Mail server requires authentication: Check this box if your mail server requires a user name and
password in order to send email. If your mail server is hosted at an ISP, it usually does require
authentication. If your mail server is on site, it may not.
User Name: The user name to use when sending email.
Password: The password to use when sending email.
