A Digit Suppression Function

The digits after the decimal point can be suppressed as required.

Setting Procedure
1. Select the OPTIONS screen. Press the [OPTIONS] button.

2. Select the OUTPUT MODE screen. Press the [OUTPUT] button.

3. Change the number of digits.

Press the button corresponding to the output number for which the number of
digits is to be changed.

Every time you press the [DIGIT SUPPRESS] button, the display changes in
the following order. The value indicates the number of digit to be suppressed.

Note: The relationship between each switch setting and the number of displayed
digits is as follows:

Example

(Displays 5 digits after the decimal point: 10.00000 mm/1.000000 inch)

(Displays 4 digits after the decimal point: 10.0000 mm/1.00000 inch)

(Displays 3 digits after the decimal point: 10.000 mm/1.0000 inch)

(Displays 2 digits after the decimal point: 10.00 mm/1.000 inch)

(Displays 1 digit after the decimal point: 10.0 mm/1.00 inch)
