Chapter 2 Basic Operations
View Menu
The View Menu allows the user to
toggle the windows within GenCG’s
UI. Guides and grid lines can also
be viewed on the Edit Window
through the View Menu.
These options allow the user to
toggle the UI Windows within
GenCG, including the Page List,
Style Catalog, Attributes Control,
and Playback Control.
Toggle UI Windows
View the guides in the Edit Window.
These guides can be used as a
safety area for the graphic output.
They are only viewable when their
corresponding boxes are checked
under [Tools] > [Options] > [Editor] >
[Guides].
Guides
This window allows for the quick selection of
Style Catalog templates and attributes.
Toggle the MultipleCG Page List
window.
Toggle the Folder List window.
This option is only available with our dual channel systems.
View the Page Lists of both open GenCG pro-
grams. Each Page List corresponds to one chan-
nel in a dual channel Compix system. Click on
any page for editing. The file currently selected
will be highlighted.
