A.2.1 Remote Control Operation

This section describes the remote control operation differences between the standard
firmware for the RFT-500 (FW/3059-2N) and the firmware supported for the CST-5000
Multi-Carrier System (FW/3059-3-).

Note: The firmware referenced in this manual may be an earlier version of the actual
firmware supplied with the unit.

Where: xxx = ON (the default) or OFF.

This command is used to replace the internal HPA fault signal
with a customer-supplied fault signal from an external HPA as
the source of the HPA fault in the 'FS_' command.

The external source interfaces with the RF terminal at
connector J6, pin M. This signal must be an OPEN/GND
signal, with OPEN defined as the fault condition.
