Error messages

If one of the following error messages appears in a pop-up, press the MULTI JOG dial (or remote control ENTER button) to

close the message. Then, resolve the issue. If you are still unable correct the problem, please contact the nearest TASCAM

service center.

Failed to prepare to begin recording.

Recording stopped because of insufficient storage area on the media.

Error occurred while recording.

INFO WRITING

An error occurred while writing data.

OVER FLOW

Recording buffer was insufficient while recording an MP3/WAV track.

Not Match DMA

Cannot record because the media does not meet the system requirements.

FLASH LOAD

Error occurred while loading flash start data.

DIN UNLOCK

Digital input is not locked.

DIN NotAudio

The input digital data is not audio.

FS UNMATCH

The sampling rate of the digital signal being input differs from the currently selected

sampling rate.

Failed to eject the CD (SS-CDR200 only)

The disc has both MP3/WAV format files and audio CD format files mixed on it. (SS-

CDR200 only)

Burn/Rip cannot be executed because media is not loaded in the selected device.

(SS-CDR200 only).

Playback is not possible because the file on the CD is in an unplayable format. (SS-

Warning messages

When an operation cannot be conducted, one of the following pop-up warning messages will appear on the display. After

appearing for about two seconds, warning messages automatically disappear.

Recording is not possible because the media does not have enough open space.

Recording is not possible because the maximum number of tracks has been reached.

There is no call point.

CAN'T REC

Recording is not possible due to system limitations.

WriteProtect

The media is write-protected.

NOT EXECUTE

Failed to execute the editing operation.

Editing was not possible due to system limitations.

Selection/execution was not possible due to system limitations.

Editing was not possible because the track was protected.

The maximum number of characters for the name (text field) has been reached.
