Module Placement Each Inverse Multiplexer application must have sole use of Data
Bus A, or a Bus A segment. The first QUAD 2164 module in any bus
island (carrying the first four T1s or E1s) must be installed in an
odd-numbered slot.
The second QUAD 2164 module in any bus island, carrying the
second four T1s or E1s, must be installed in an even-numbered
slot. The IMUX 2160 module may be placed in an odd or even
numbered slot.
Maximized MLS
2200 Installation
Using the MLS 2200, you can install and configure up to six user
applications.
Figure 1-3 shows a shelf with a maximized
installation using multiple configurations.
