Procedure:

1. Select Configuration > PV system properties in the page and menu selection.
2. Select the tab Parameters.
3. Select [Edit].

☑ The menu for setting parameters opens.

4. Enter the feed-in tariff per kWh in the Reimbursement area in the text field Feed-in tariff.

Also select the desired currency in the accompanying drop-down list.

5. In the text field PV system with self-consumption, select whether self-generated PV energy is

consumed in your household (self-consumption). If you select Yes (default setting),
the self-consumption of the household is taken into consideration in the load control and
recommended actions.

6. If you receive compensation for self-consumption, enter the self-consumption tariff in the text field

Self-Consumption Tariff.

7. If you do not receive compensation for self-consumption, enter 0 in the text field

Self-Consumption Tariff.

8. Enter the time for which the electricity tariff applies in the Electricity Tariff area in the input fields

From and To.

9. Enter the electricity tariff that applies to the entered time in the Price input field.

10. If the electricity tariff only applies to specific weekdays, activate the checkboxes with the

respective weekdays.

11. If the electricity tariff applies to each weekday, activate all weekday checkboxes.
12. To enter additional electricity tariffs, select and enter the data.
13. Select [Save].

12.9 Configuring Limitation of Active Power Feed-In

Responsibility of the PV system operator for limitation of active power feed-in
The PV system operator is responsible for the correctness of information on limiting the active power
feed-in and PV system power.

• Ask your grid operator beforehand whether you are permitted to use the

Sunny Home Manager to limit active power feed-in (Manufacturer's Declaration "Feed-in
Management in Accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) 2012 with
Sunny Home Manager (SHM) from SMA available at www.SMA-Solar.com).

• Set the limitation of active power feed-in required by the grid operator. If necessary,

contact your grid operator.

• Ensure you have correct information on the nominal PV system power. If you extend the

system, adjust the value for the nominal PV system power accordingly.
