In the Ethernet field of the Connection Setup dialog box, enter the IP address that was
assigned the module in Assigning a Permanent IP Address (page 29). In the Connection
Setup
dialog box, click the T
EST C ONNECTION
button to verify that the module is
accessible with the current settings.
You can also use CIPconnect ® to connect to the module through a 1756-ENBT card by
choosing 1756-ENBT in the S
ELECT C ONNECTION T YPE
list. Refer to Using CIPconnect ®
to Connect to the Module (page 51) for information on how to construct a CIP path.
