Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is facilitated by the
following:
Ǟ codes to protect the program files against unau-
thorized modification,
Ǟ counters for the number of syringe and valve
operating-cycles,
Ǟ checking protocol for the hydraulic specifica-
tions (IQ/OQ procedures),
Ǟ correction of the syringe-piston stroke to com-
pensate for environmental factors (temperature,
viscosity, etc.).
