Exhaust Pipe
Exhaust Pipe Cleaning and Inspection
•
Remove the exhaust pipe parts.
•
Clean the carbon deposits out of the exhaust passages
with a blunt, roundedged tool.
•
Flush foreign matter out of the water passages with fresh
water.
•
Check the insides of the water passage for corrosion.
•
Check the gasket surface for nicks or other damage.
If there is excessive corrosion or if the gasket surfaces are
so badly damaged that they will not seal properly, replace
the part.
