6-22 ENGINE TOP END
Cylinder Head
•
Remove:
Engine Hook Bolts [A]
Engine Hook [B]
Cylinder Head Bolts [C]
•
Remove:
Upper Dipstick Tube Bolts [A]
Upper Exhaust Side Camshaft Chain Guide Bolt [B]
M7 Cylinder Head Bolts [C]
•
Remove the M11 cylinder head bolts [A] and washers.
•
Take off the cylinder head.
Cylinder Head Installation
NOTE
○
The camshaft cap is machined with the cylinder head,
so if a new cylinder head is installed, use the cap that
is supplied with the new head.
•
Replace that the O-rings [A] of the oil pipe [B] and apply
molybdenum disulfide oil solution to them.
•
Verify that the oil pipe [A] is installed properly.
•
Install a new cylinder head gasket [B], and knock pins [C].
