Running the Test
When Start is pressed on the SIP Setting screen, the
FrameScope Pro checks if Register in the Phone panel on the SIP
Setting screen is selected. If Register is selected, the FrameScope
Pro will register with the registrar or SIP Server using the
user-defined options in the SIP setting screen, before placing a
call or sending an Invite message.
If Register is not selected, the FrameScope Pro will call the IP
address specified in the SIP Server box on the SIP Setting
screen directly.
The SIP call is placed to the number set in Target Phone no with
the user-defined audio codec as specified on the SIP screen.
After the SIP signaling has completed, data flows across the
network and the measurement statistics appear in the SIP
Phone Test screen.
The test results can be saved to the CompactFlash card using
Save Results .
