6 IP Video Testing with the FrameScope Pro
Downloading Video Channels
If common video lists need to be used on multiple FrameScope
Pro units without the risk of operator errors, predefined lists
can be provided for download from an FTP server. This feature
also supports FTP authentication.
1 Press Download on the Video List Setting screen.
2 Type in the IP address or URL of the FTP server, the port
number, and the proxy server to use the FTP service.
3 Type in the user name and password, if the FTP server
requires FTP authentication.
If no authentication information is typed in, the FrameScope
Pro will attempt to connect to the FTP server as an
“anonymous” user.
4 Type in the full path, including the filename of the test suite
to be downloaded, in the Video List File Path box.
5 Press OK to start the download.
After pressing OK and following a successful download, the
Video List screen will be displayed.
