Gross Rate: Actual data rate (kbps)

Latency: Latency path

Max Rate: Maximum data rate (kbps)

The errors reported by CPE (VIT tester) and CO (DSLAM)

CRC: Cyclic redundancy check

FEC: Forward error correction

HEC: Header error control

LOS: Loss of signal

NCD: No cell delineation

LCD: Loss of cell delineation

ADSL Status Messages:

Idle: Transceiver is initialized but idle

Quiet: Awaiting activation request from ATU-R

Diagnostic Mode

Ready: Standby

Fail: Fail due to error

Reset

GHS: Handshake

Full Initialization: Full training

Short Initialization: Short training

Retrain: Renegotiation

Showtime: Active (synchronization is successful)

These parameters are refreshed every 10 seconds. The timing
for these updates is fixed and cannot be changed. The results of
these updates are logged into the report file. You can set how
often the results are logged to the report file, as shown in

“Setting up the report interval”

on page 135.
