DSL Testing with the FrameScope Pro
Getting xDSL Performance Data
Press Service Tests on the Main Menu screen to call the Type of
Service screen. Press ADSL VIT-A2.
The DSL Setting screen will load the the most recently saved
test suite. If no test suite was previously saved, the default test
suite will be loaded.
Press Start.
If the status line shows “No Modem Connection”, the
FrameScope Pro is not connected to the VIT-A2. Check that the
correct IP address is configured for the VIT-A2 (192.168.0.1 by
default). Refer to
“Setting up the network parameters”
If the parameters of the test suite in the FrameScope Pro are
different from the settings read from VIT-A2, the FrameScope
Pro will prompt if the settings in the FrameScope Pro should be
activated in the VIT-A2. The test suite settings can be configured
in the Modem Network Settings and Test Settings screens. Press
