System Operations
You can select Use DHCP to automatically configure the
FrameScope Pro when the FrameScope Pro connects to the
network, or select Manually Configure. If you choose to manually
configure the IP settings, you have to at least type in a valid IP
address and a valid subnet mask.
•
IP Address – This value uniquely identifies the FrameScope
Pro in the TCP/IP network.
•
Subnet Mask – This value is combined with the IP Address to
define the subnet mask of the FrameScope Pro.
•
Default Gateway – This is the default gateway (router) the
FrameScope Pro will use to communicate with devices on
other subnets.
Press Next to proceed to the network client settings, which
allows you to specify the host name, DNS domain, DNS servers,
and WINS servers.

To configure the Auxiliary Port to use VLAN tagging, select
the VLAN Tag and type in the VLAN Identifier and VLAN
priority according to the parameters of the network and
service the Auxiliary Port is connected to on the second
setup screen.
Press OK to finish the Auxiliary Port setup.
If changes are made, a window will appear asking you to restart
the FrameScope Pro for the new settings to take effect.
