Auto Sequence Tab
Auto Sequence the Text - This field enables automatic sequencing of the
text. When checked, three additional fields are enabled to specify the type
of sequencing. This form of auto-sequencing is different from the Serial
Number feature described earlier. With Serial Number sequencing, only
numbers can be used and the field size is limited to about 9 digits. By auto-
sequencing the text in this editor, both alphabetical and numeric characters
can be used and freely intermixed. Also, there is no real limit placed on the
number of characters that can be sequenced, although there are practical
limits such as the number of characters that can fit on the cassette.
Sequence
• "Increment" - The text sequence increases numerically / alphabetically.
• "Decrement" - The text sequence decreases.
Direction
• "Right to Left" - The rightmost character sequences first, and so on from
right to left.
• "Left to Right" - The leftmost character sequences first, and so on from
left to right.
