Software Installation Manual, Revision 2 - 03/2010

Rotation - Specifies the number of degrees to rotate the barcode. Enter 0,
90, 180 or 270 or use the up/down control to change the field. Note that the
rotation of the field is relative to the X/Y coordinate of the lower left of the
barcode.

Link - Can contain a list of numbers, separated by commas, that indicate
which text fields are to be included in the barcode. A drop-down list of text
fields is provided to allow you to select the proper fields. Each time a field is
selected from the list, its link is added. Alternatively the link field may di-
rectly specify the text to encode if it begins with a colon ":" character, or it
may specify the path to a file that includes the text if it begins with the "at"
sign "@".

Auto Scale the Barcode to Fit - This checkbox and associated edit field are
used to automatically select a barcode scale value that makes it fit within
the specified width value. Note that due to printer resolution limitations, the
barcode may not exactly fit the desired area.

Note that if a 2D code is chosen, the Height field is ignored since the
barcode height/width is determined solely from the amount of data en-
crypted.

Binary Values in the Link - It may be necessary to specify a binary or control
code value as part of the link field. For example, a 2D code may need to use
a TAB character, record separator (RS), carriage return (CR) or other non-
printable ASCII character embedded in the data. To include these values,
use the colon ":" character and specify the binary value in one of the follow-
ing ways.

Specify the hexadecimal value directly using the following format: \x09.

Use a common "escape" sequence: \r = carriage return, \n = line feed,
\t = tab.

Use the standard ASCII control code name: \ <TAB> \ <CR> <\RS>
