Use the drop-down lists in the Miscellaneous tab to add
various external devices to the .hwi file. The devices listed Miscellaneous tab
here are not automatically added by the Hardware Detect
option.

About Multiple .hwi Files
You can create multiple .hwi files that contain different hardware settings and save them in the
same controller directory. This allows you to create custom .hwi settings for different tests. Custom
settings may include different input filtering settings, DUC settings, and external hardware settings.
You can use the Project Manager application to select different .hwi files for use with a controller.
CAUTION:
For proper operation, the hardware resources specified in a configuration (.cfg) file
must match those in the .hwi file.
Changing the hardware resources in an .hwi file can cause the system load operation
to fail.
